Desotec, headquartered in Belgium, is the leading European manufacturer of purification solutions based on activated carbon technology. Their line of business is mainly B2B, meaning the sales team is the company’s most important asset. To support the salespeople Desotec implemented the sales enablement platform Showpad to centralise all content and do so much more. To optimise the sales cycle, they also use the CRM system Salesforce to collect prospect and customer information. Now, wouldn’t it be great if these systems could be integrated?
To link Showpad and Salesforce to each other, creating one powerful tool to assist Desotec’s salespeople in the best possible way.
This was a technologically complex request, for which we closely collaborated with Showpad. Together we created an Experience app which allows salespeople to show prospects or clients content in a targeted, market specific way, capture contact information and immediately save it into Salesforce, and prepare a first budget estimate which – together with all applicable assets – can be sent immediately to the client. And the best thing: all this can be tracked via the Analytics to shorten the sales cycle even more! In short: this project combined breakthrough technology with an all-encompassing sales supporting experience!
At the Showpad Transform event in London in 2019, Desotec won a prestigious Showpad SAM award together with us for the creation of this Experience app. The project was presented jointly by our CommTech Director Maarten Huybrighs and Desotec during a breakout session at the event.
